Individual Professional AWARDs
The ACI Houston Chapter has open nominations for the Annual Professional Member Awards to be presented at the Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet in January each year. Please visit the following link to view Individual Member Award Categories and to submit and entry. There is no cost to submit, however the listed requirements should be carefully observed.
L. Blake Fentress Award
The Highest ACI Houston Chapter Award. This Fentress Award may be presented annually to an outstanding member of the Houston Chapter of the American Concrete Institute by their peers in recognition of leadership and excellence in their field of endeavor and unselfish service to the Chapter.
The qualifications for the L. Blake Fentress Award are as follows:
- Continuous membership in the Houston Chapter ACI for the past five years.
- Continuous membership in National ACI for the past five years.
- Active participation in Houston Chapter activities during the past five years.

ACI Houston Chapter project Excellence AWARDs
The ACI Houston Chapter has open nominations for the Annual Excellence in Concrete Project Awards to be presented at the Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet in January each year. Nominations close on December 5, 2025. Please visit the following link to view the Project Award Categories and to submit and entry. The cost to submit is $50 for the first submission and $25 for each submission thereafter by the same person/company. The listed project requirements should be carefully observed.
