CERTIFICATION ACI HOUSTON

    The ACI Houston Chapter has been bringing together individuals, groups and businesses with a common interest in concrete for over 15 years. We are the sponsoring group for Southeast Texas providing performance and written exams for ACI 

    Certification in the following disciplines: 

    • Grade 1 Field Technician

    • Laboratory Technician Level 2

    • Strength Testing Technician

    • Aggregate Technician, Level 1 & 2

    • Aggregate/Soils Base Testing Technician

    • Concrete Transportation Construction Inspector

    The workshop is included in the cost of the test. Breakfast and lunch are provided at the workshop. Breakfast is provided at the exam, but students are advised to bring their lunch. Student handbooks are distributed at the workshop and will not be available on the day of the exams. Student handbooks are not mailed, but may be picked up at the local ACI office (with prior arrangements). Please contact John Mills to make arrangements.

    December 7th is a 1-day re-certification classes with a written test review on the day prior to the test (1 – 5 p.m). This review is for Field Level 1 and Strength Tester only. Companies who choose to send non-certified personnel may do so with the understanding that there is not a review of the performance exam.

    Failure to show up with the proper PPE will result in being dismissed from the class and/or test. Refund or transfer will not be permitted.

    If you are a supervisor or administrator enrolling an employee, it is your responsibility to ensure the above information is relayed to the Examinee.
